STRIKES BY EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES (108) BY M/s. UKSAS-BVG

CONSORTIUM INDIA LTD PROHIBITED FOR A PERIOD OF (6) MONTHS.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh have declared the services

of Emergency Response Services (108 Services) by M/s UKSAS-BVG India

Ltd to be “Essential Services” under the provisions of sub clause (vi) of

clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services

Maintenance Act 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20/1971) in the G.O.Ms.No.74, HM&FW

(K1) Department Dated : 26^th April, 2014.

And whereas, the Government have satisfied that in the public

interest, it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in the said services

with immediate effect.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)

and (3) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance

Act 1971 (Act 20/1971), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby prohibit the

strikes in the services of Emergency Response Services (108 services) by

M/s UKSAS-BVG Consortium India Ltd for a period of six months with immediate

effect, in the public interest.
