APPOINTING JOINT COLLECTOR, EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT AS ADMINISTRATOR

FOR REHABILITATION & RESETTLEMENT UNDER SECTION 43 (1) - IN

RESPECT OF EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub section (1) of Section 43

of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (No.30 of 2013) the Government

hereby appoints the Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate, East

Godavari District as “Administrator” for Polavaram Irrigation Project and

other projects in East Godavari in place of Project Officer, ITDA, Rampachodavarm

and shall exercise all the powers conferred and discharge all the duties

imposed on the Administrator under the provisions of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and

Resettlement Act, 2013.

The Administrator shall work under the Supervision, direction and control

of Government and the Commissioner for Rehabilitation and Resettlement.

NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

The responsibility for formulation, execution and monitoring of the

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme shall vest with the Administrator.

All the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Awards under sub-section (1)

of Section 31 shall be approved by the Joint Collector/Administrator before

being approved by Commissioner, Rehabilitation and Resettlement and

pronounced by Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Officer i.e.,

Collector under the Act.

The Special Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land

Administration, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, all the Departments of Secretariat,

all the Heads of Department and the District Collector, East Godavari, are

directed to take necessary action accordingly.
