FINAL NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-sections (2) and (5) of
Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Districts (Formation) Act, 1974 (Andhra
Pradesh Act No. 7 of 1974), in the interest of better administration and
development of the areas, after having published the proposals in Extra
Ordinary issue of A.P. Gazette No.22 Dated : 5.1.2018 as required under
sub section (5) of Section-3 of the Andhra Pradesh District (Formation) Act 1974,
and since no objections were received on Notification of reorganization
of Visakhapatnam Urban & Rural mandals, do hereby notify that, there shall
be formed three new Urban Mandals after reorganization of Visakhapatnam
(Urban) and (Rural) Mandals into Seethammadhara, Maharanipeta, Gopalapatnam,
Mulagada and Visakhapatnam (Rural) Mandals in Visakhapatnam Revenue Division,
Visakhapatnam District, with head quarters as set out in the appended Schedule
below with effect from the date of Publication of this Notification in the Gazette.
