ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR CONDUCT OF CASUAL VACANCIES OF PRESIDENT / VICE-

PRESIDENT OF MANDAL PRAJA PARISHADS IN CERTAIN DISTRICTS.

NOTIFICATION

No. 45/SEC-B1/2016-37: In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections

200 and 201 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, (Act 13 of 1994) read

with and Andhra Pradesh Conduct of election of Co-opted Member, President and

Vice-President of Mandal Parishad and Co-opted Members, Chairperson and Vice-

Chairperson of Zilla Parishad Rules, 2006 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 173, PR & RD (Elecs)

Dept, dated 10.5.2006, the State Election Commissioner, hereby, directs the Gazetted

Officers of the Government authorised by the District Collectors and District Election

Authorities concerned to conduct election to the casual vacancies of Presidents /

Vice-Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads indicated in Annexure-I in accordance

with the procedure laid down in the said Rules and specifies the election schedule in

Annexure-II appended to this Notification.

At 11.00 AM

02.05.2018

NOTE:- If for any reason election to any of the vacancies notified for election is not

held on 02.05.2018, it shall be held on the next day, i.e., on 03.05.2018 at

11.00 A.M whether or not it is observed as a holiday by the Mandal Praja Parishad

concerned.
