DECLARATION OF SRI BALA VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE, NIDAMARRU

VILLAGE & MANDAL, WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra

Pradesh that the Ancient Temple Sri Bala Venkateswara Swamy Temple,

Nidamarru Village & Mandal, West Godavari District, as specified in the

appended Schedule, is considered to be of Archaeological and Historical

importance ;

And whereas, the Government are of the opinion that Sri Bala Venkateswara

Swamy Temple, Nidamarru Village & Mandal, West Godavari District requires

protection under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical

Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960) ;

And whereas, the Government, have issued Notification in the G.O.Ms.

No. 107, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated: 07-09-2011 and the same has

been published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.546-C, Part - I, Dated :

20-09-2011 at page.No. 4 its intention to declare the said Ancient Temple to

be a protected monument by giving two months notice as required under

sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act ;

And whereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by

the Government to the declaration of the said Sri Bala Venkateswara Swamy

Temple, Nidamarru Village & Mandal, West Godavari District, to be a protected

monument during the said period of two months.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (3) of

Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and

Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960) and in supersession

of the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No.60, YAT&C Deptt., Dated : 26.04.2012

the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that the Ancient Sri Bala

Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Nidamarru Village & Mandal, West Godavari

District as specified in the Schedule to be a protected monument as the same

having been previously published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette as required

under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act.
