RECONSTITUTION OF ANDHRA PRADESH STATE MINIMUM WAGES ADVISORY

BOARD UNDER SECTION 7 OF THE MINIMUM WAGES ACT, 1948 -

APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 read with Section 9

of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act, 11 of 1948) and rule 4 of the

Minimum Wages Rules 1960, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby

reconstitutes the Minimum Wages Advisory Board for the State of Andhra

Pradesh and Sri Raghupathula Rammohan Rao is appointed as Chairman of

Andhra Pradesh State Minimum Wages Advisory Board with immediate

effect.

2.

The term of the Chairman of the above Board shall be for a period of two

years from the date of issue of this Notification.

3.

The expenditure on the above Board shall be debited to “2230 - Labour

and Employment Labour - MH 001 Direction and Administration - SH-01

Head Quarters Office - 11 - Domestic Travel Expenses 113 TA&DA to non

official members”

4.

The Commissioner of Labour, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada shall take

necessary further action in the matter.
