AMENDMENT TO THE VISAKHAPATNAM PORT TRUST

DOCK REGULATIONS, 1967

GSR No. In exercise of powers conferred by Sec. 123(f) to (o)

of the Major Port Trust Act, 1963, (Act 38 of 1963) the Board of Trustees

hereby makes the following amendments to the Visakhapatnam Port Trust

Dock Regulations 1967 with the sanction of the Central Government u/s 124(1)

of the said Act vide Ministry of Shipping, New Delhi letter No...............................

and being published in the A.P.Gazette as required

under Section 124 (2) of the said Act.

AMENDMENT

1.

Short title and commencement:

(i)

These Regulations shall be called the Visakhapatnam Port Trust

Dock Amendment Regulations, 2018.

(ii) It shall come into force from the date of publication of the same in the

Official Gazette.

2. To amend the periodicity of the provisions covered by Regulations 113 (D)

XII (a), and its APPENDIX - “J” as 3 years instead of 1 year.

3. To incorporate the same in the VPT Dock Regulations, 1967 which formed

the Main Regulations appropriately.
