AMENDMENT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH FISHERIES SERVICE RULES -

SPECIAL RULES.

[G.O.MS.No. 27, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development & Fisheries (Fish),

28^th June, 2018.]

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the

Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the

following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Fisheries Service Rules,

issued in G.O.Ms.No.316, Food & Agriculture (Fish.I) Department, Dated 09.04.1991

and as subsequently amended, from time to time.

AMENDMENT

(1)

In the said rules, Rule 2 under Class -I, after category 5, the following

shall be added namely -

‘Category-6 - “P.A. to Director of Fisheries / Assistant Director (Admn)/”

(2)

In the Annexure to Rule 7, in the table under Class-I, after Category - 5,

the following shall be inserted against the existing columns namely:

(ii) If no qualified and suitable

candidates are available by

the method(i) above,

By transfer on tenure for a

period of not exceeding 3

years of Deputy Collectors in

the Andhra Pradesh Civil

Services (Executive Branch).

Note: In the matter of

appointment to the post of

Asst. Director (Admn)/PA to

Director of Fisheries, the

appointment on tenure from

the category of Deputy

Collector shall be resorted to

only when qualified and

suitable superintendents are

not available in the Fisheries

Dept.

Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree

of any University in India

established

or

incorporated or under a Central

Act, State Act or Provincial Act

or an Institution recognised by

the

University

Grants

Commission of any equivalent

qualification.
