NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 34

of the Indian Boilers Act, 1923, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby

exempts the Boiler No. AP/2736 pertaining to Unit-5 of M/s Dr. Narla Tata Rao

Thermal Power Station, Ibrahimpatnam, Krishna District from the provisions

of sub-section (c) of Section 6 of the Indian Boilers Act for a period of 6(six)

months from 02.06.2018 to 01.12.2018, subject to the following conditions :

1.

The inspection fee of Rs.1,00,000/- paid on 02.05.2018 is adjusted

towards inspection of Boiler and Steam pipeline during working

carried out on 28.05.2018 for the purpose of exemption.

2.

During the exemption period, the Boiler shall be used in accordance

to the provisions of the Boilers Act, the Boiler Attendants Rules and

the Boiler Operation Engineers’ Rules.

Any repair during the period of exemption shall be carried out only

after obtaining the permission from the Director of Boilers, AP,

Amaravati.

4.

No further exemption shall be granted to the Boiler. After the exemption

period, the Boiler shall be offered for inspection.

NOTIFICATION

Under Rule 10 (a) (i) of Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service

Rules, 1996, Sri J. Siva Sankar Reddy, Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories

is hereby temporarily promoted as Joint Chief Inspector of Factories in the Scale

of pay of Rs. 66330-1660-67990-1760-73270-1880-78910-2020- 84970-2160-

91450-2330-100770-2520-108330.

Consequent on promotion as Joint Chief Inspector of Factories Sri J. Siva

Sankar Reddy, Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories, Kurnool is posted as Joint

Chief Inspector of Factories, Visakhapatnam in the existing vacancy.

The promotion ordered in Para (1) above is subject to directions/outcome

of OAs/WPs/WAs/RPs/CAs etc., if any pending before the Tribunal/Courts etc.

The Officer should join in the promotion post within the period prescribed in the

Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996.

The Director of Factories, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada shall take

necessary further action in the matter.
