WAIVER OF STAMP DUTY PAYABLE ON THE VALUE OF IMPROVEMENTS IN

RESPECT OF LANDS LEASED OUT BY SWACHA ANDHRA MISSION (SAM)

IN FAVOUR OF DEVELOPERS, FOR SETTING UP OF WASTE TO ENERGY

PLANTS IN CERTAIN URBAN LOCAL BODIES IN THE STATE.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of

Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act II of 1899), the Governor of

Andhra Pradesh hereby remits the Stamp Duty chargeable under Article 31 (d)

of Schedule 1-A to the said Act on the value of improvements amounting to

Rs. 10.32 crores being levied on the lands leased out by Swachha Andhra

Mission (SAM) in favour of Developers, for setting up of Waste to Energy

Plants in certain Urban Local Bodies in the State.
