AMENDMENT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH ENGINEERING SUB-ORDINATE

SERVICE RULES.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the

Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Government of

Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh

Engineering Subordinate Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.2732, Public (Service)

department, Dated 30^th September, 1953 as amend subsequently.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, under branch III (Irrigation Branch) in Schedule II, in the table, in

column (2) against category 6 (b) Irrigation Conservancy Assistants, for the existing entries,

the following shall be substituted, namely: —

i)

Experience as Work Inspector in building or Irrigation works for period of not

less than 5 years;

ii)

For Direct Recruitment - A pass in I.T.I.(Civil) conducted by the Technical

Education Department of Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent.

Provided that for appointment by transfer from the categories of Andhra

Pradesh Ministerial Service Rules/ Andhra Pradesh Last Grade Service Rules /Work

Charged Establishment who were appointed in the said rules prior to this amendment

the candidates possessing Intermediate qualification shall be considered.
