NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Arms Act,

1959 (Central Act.No.54 of 1959) read with the Government of India, Ministry

of Home Affairs Notification GSR 701 (E), Dated : 15.07.2016 and under Rule 3

of the Arms Rules, 2016, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby further

extends the ban orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.595, Home (Arms) Department,

Dated : 10.07.2018 on carrying sharp edged weapons of the description contained

in the Category V of the Schedule - I of the Arms Rules, 2016, in the Districts

of Kurnool, YSR (Kadapa), Chittoor and Anantapuramu (Rayalaseema Region),

Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam (Andhra Region) for a further period of six

months with effect from 15.01.2019.
