AMENDMENT TO RULE 11 OF THE ANDHRA PRADESH STATE JUDICIAL

(SERVICE AND CADRE) RULES, 2007.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Articles 233, 234, 235, 237

read with the proviso to Article 309 and proviso to clause (3) of Article 320 of

the Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes

the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh State Judicial (Service and

Cadre) Rules 2007, issued in G.O.Ms.No. 119, Law (LA&J-SC.F) Department,

Dated : 02-08-2008 as subsequently amended.

AMENDMENT

In the said Rules for Rule 11, the following Rule shall be substituted namely:-

“11. Discharge of Unsuitable probationers:- The appointing authority on the

recommendation of the High Court may, at any time, before or during the period

of probation or during the extended period of probation, terminate the probation

of the probationer and discharge the probationer from service on account of

unsatisfactory performance or conduct or for any other sufficient reason to be

recorded in writing and considers that the probationer is not suitable for full

membership, after giving him one month’s notice or pay in lieu of such notice.”
