TRANSFER OF POWERS AND FUNCTIONS OF CERTAIN GRAM PANCHAYATS IN
VISAKHAPATNAM DISTRICT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH INDUSTRIAL
INFRASTRUCTURE CORPORATION LIMITED UNDER SECTION 147 OF THE
ANDHRA PRADESH PANCHAYAT RAJ ACT, 1994.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under section 147 of the Andhra Pradesh
Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Act No. 13 of 1994) and in consultation of the concerned
Gram Panchayats of Visakhapatnam District, the Government hereby transfer
the powers and functions of Gram Panchayats under the various sections in the
Andhra Pradesh Panchyat Raj Act, 1994 as specified in Annexure-I of this order
in favour of the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited, in
respect of villages, lands and Gram Panchayats of Visakhapatnam District as
appended in Annexure-II for systematic and regular maintenance and for
facilitating speedy industrialization in the State and fix the revenue share in
the ratio of 50:50 between the concerned Gram Panchayats and the Andhra
Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited.
