NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 34 of

the Indian Boilers Act, 1923, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby exempts

the Boiler No. AP/5483 pertaining to M/s Steel Exchange India Limited-Power

Division, Sreerampuram Village, L.Kota Mandal, Vizianagaram District from

the provisions of sub-section (c) of Section 6 of the Indian Boilers Act for a

period of 6(six) months from 02.10.2018 to 01.04.2019, subject to the

following conditions:

NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

1.

The inspection fee of Rs. 65,250/- paid on 11.09.2018 is adjusted towards

inspection of Boiler and Steam pipe line during working carried out

on 30.10.2018 for the purpose of exemption.

2.

During the exemption period, the Boiler shall be used in accordance

to the provisions of the Boilers Act, the Boiler Attendants’ Rules and

the Boiler Operation Engineers’ Rules.

3.

Any repair during the period of exemption shall be carried out only after

obtaining the permission from the Director of Boilers, Andhra Pradesh,

Amaravati.

4.

No further exemption shall be granted to the Boiler. After the exemption

period, the Boiler shall be offered for inspection.
