NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers, conferred by section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh
Forest Act, 1967 (Act 1 of 1967), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, hereby declares
that, it is proposed to constitute the land within the boundaries specified in the
Schedule below, as a Reserved Forest under the said act and appoints the Joint
Collector, Chittoor Ex- officio, to be the Forest Settlement Officer, in regard to the said
lands to enquire into and determine the existence, nature and extent of any rights
claimed by or alleged to exist in favour of any person, in or over the land comprised
within such limits, or to any Forest Produce of such land and to deal with the
same as provided in Chapter-II of the said Act, and also appoints the Divisional Forest
Officer, Chittoor West Division, Ex-Officio to attend on behalf of Government at the
enquiry under the said Chapter-II held by the said Forest Settlement Officer.
