NOTIFICATION OF 400 kV TRANSMISSION SCHEMES NAMELY “TRANSMISSION

SCHEME FOR PROVIDING 2 Nos 400/220kV, 500 MVA AUTO TRANSFORMERS

AT 400kV GVK POWER PLANT, JEGURUPADU ALONG WITH 1 No

220kV SUB-STATION AT RAMACHANDRAPURAM AND CONNECTED

TRANSMISSION NETWORK UNDER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT WORKS

FOR CATERING LOADS AT RAMACHANDRAPURAM AREA IN EAST

GODAVARI DISTRICT”.

NOTIFICATION

Transmission scheme for providing 2 Nos. 400/220kV, 500 MVA Auto Transformers

at 400kV GVK Power Plant, Jegurupadu along with 1 No 220kV Sub-Station

at Ramachandrapuram and connected Transmission Network under System

Improvement works for catering loads at Ramachandrapuram and to overcome

overloading conditions at 400kV Vemagiri Substation in East Godavari District.

The total estimated cost of the scheme is Rs.299.62 Crores and Interest During

Construction of Rs.25.65 Crores. The Scheme is proposed for completion during

the year 2021-2022 and will result in reduction of EHT transmission losses,

improvement of voltage profiles & meets the additional load demand in the region

and surrounding areas.

a) Providing 2 Nos 400/220kV, 500 MVA Auto Transformers at 400kV GVK

Power Plant, Jegurupadu along with 6 Nos 220kV feeder bay extensions and

terlinking to 220kV Bus from ICT’s.

b) 220kV DC LILO (1 KM approx) of existing 220kV Vemagiri-Samalkot DC line at

400kV GVK Power plant.

c) Erection of 220/132kV Ramachandrapuram SS with 2 x 100 MVA PTRs.

d) 220kV Single Moose DC line (25KM approx) from proposed 400kV GVK Power

Plant to proposed 220/132kV Ramachandrapuram SS.

e) Making one circuit 132kV LILO (0.5 KM approx) of existing 132kV RC Puram-

Kakinada at proposed 220/132kV SS at RC Puram.

f) Making 132kV LILO(l KM approx) of existing 132kV RC Puram-Editha at

proposed 220/132kV SS at RC Puram.

g) Making 132kV LILO (6 KM approx) of existing 132kV RC Puram-Kothapeta at

proposed 220/132kV SS at RC Puram.

h) Erection of 132kV DC line (18 KM approx) from 132kV Gollapalem SS to

proposed 220/132kV SS at RC Puram.

In exercise of the powers conferred vide G.O.Ms.No.115, Dated: 07-10-2003 of

Government of Andhra Pradesh, APTRANSCO or their authorized lepresentatives

shall have the powers for placing of the electric supply lines or electric plant for the

transmission of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic

communications necessary for the proper co-ordination of works that a telegraphic

authority possesses under the provision of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 (Central

Act 13 of 1885).

Any person interested/aggrieved may make representation to the Chief

Engineer/ 400 kV Construction, APTRANSCO, Vidyut Soudha, Vijayawda-520004

within two (2) months from the date of publication of this notification.

Representations received after the due date will not be considered and

APTRANSCO will take-up the above works after due date with/without modification

as it deems fit after making enquiry, if necessary.
