NOTIFICATION OF REVISED 400 kV TRANSMISSION SCHEME NAMELY

“TRANSMISSION SCHEMES FOR EVACUATION OF POWER FROM

960 (12 X 80) MW POLAVARAM HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT IN

EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT OF ANDHRA PRADESH WHICH IS

UNDER CONSTRUCTION BY APGENCO.

NOTIFICATION

Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited has proposed

“Revised Transmission Scheme for evacuation of power from 960 (12 x 80) MW

Polavaram Hydro Electric Project in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh which

is under construction by APGENCO”, with the erection of the following Transmission

Lines and Bay extensions. The total estimated cost of the revised scheme is Rs.332.10

Crores and Interest During Construction of Rs.26 Crores. The Scheme is proposed

for completion during the year 2020-2021 and will result in reduction of EHT

transmission losses, improvement of voltage profiles & meets the additional load

demand in the region and surrounding areas.

1) 400kV QMDC Line from 400kV Polavaram Sub-station to 400/220/11kV

Guddigudem Substation -60 Kms.

2) Two (2) Nos. 400kV Bay Extensions at 400/220/11kV Guddigudem Sub-station

In exercise of the powers conferred vide G.O.Ms.No.115, Dated: 07-10-2003

of Government of Andhra Pradesh, APTRANSCO or their authorized representatives

shall have the powers for placing of the electric supply lines or electric plant for the

transmission of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic

communications necessary for the proper co-ordination of works that a telegraphic

authority possesses under the provision of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 (Central

Act-13 of 1885).

Any person interested/aggrieved may make representation to the Chief

Engineer/ 400 kV Construction, APTRANSCO, Vidyut Soudha, Vijayawda within

two (2) months from the date of publication of this notification.

Representations received after the due date will not be considered and

APTRANSCO will take-up the above works after due date with/without modification

as it deems fit after making enquiry, if necessary.
