A P P E N D I X

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-sections (2) and (5) of Section 3

of the Andhra Pradesh Districts (Formation) Act, 1974 (Act No. 7 of 1974), in the

interest of better administration and development of the areas, it is proposed to shift

the Gopalapuram Revenue Mandal from the administrative control of Jangareddigudem

Revenue Division to the administrative control of Kovvur Revenue Division in West

Godavari District as set out in the appended Schedule below. Under sub-Section (5)

of Section 3 of the said Act read with Rule 3(3) and Rule 4 of the A.P. Districts (Formation)

Rules, 1984, notice is hereby given, inviting objections and suggestions on the above

proposal from all persons residing within the area of existing Gopalapuram Revenue

Mandal of the West Godavari District who are likely to be affected thereby for being

taken into consideration by the Government.

All objections and suggestions should be in writing in English or in Telugu and

should be addressed to the District Collector of West Godavari District (by designation),

within whose jurisdiction the area lies, so as to reach the office of the District Collector,

West Godavari on or before the expiry of (30) days from the date of publication

of this notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
