NOTIFICATION

Rc.No. C1/171/2018,- The Occupier, M/s SNJ Sugars & Products Ltd., Nelavoy

Village, Sri Rangarajapuram Mandal of Chittoor District submitted proposal for

declaration of their factory zone for a period of 5 crushing seasons from 2018-2019 to

2022-2023 through the Assistant Cane Commissioner, Chittoor vide ref. 2 ^nd

read above, as the period of their declared zone validity is completed by

2017-18 crushing season.

Earlier the factory zone of M/s SNJ Sugars & Products Ltd., Nelavoy

Village, Sri Rangarajapuram Mandal of Chittoor District was declared for 5 (five)

crushing seasons from 2013-2014 to 2017-2018 with a total of 178 villages in

11 mandals of Chittoor District vide ref. 1 ^st read above, subject to the

following conditions.

NOTIFICATIONS BY HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS Etc.,

The members of the Chittoor Coop. Sugar Factory in all the following

33 villages in 8 mandals, which were deleted earlier from the CSF zone,

are at liberty to supply their produce in accordance with the provisions

of Section-16(1-A) of A.P. Sugarcane (RS&P) Act, 1961 to Chittoor CSF

for crushing purpose.

The request of Chittoor CSF for retention of all the (33) villages in 6 mandals

or part villages in its zone will be re-examined based on the performance

of the CSF in cane crushing and recovery and after expansion of the

present capacity and erection of co-gen and ethanol plants in future by

the CSF at any point of time during zone period.

The Asst. Cane Commissioner, Chittoor while submitting his remarks, has

opined to declare the factory zone of M/s SNJ Sugars & Products Ltd.,

Nelavoy Village comprising of 178 villages in 11 mandals of Chittoor District for

further period of 5 crushing seasons from 2018-19 season onwards without

any changes in the existing zone.

After careful examination cf the proposal of M/s SNJ Sugars & Products

Ltd., Nelavoy Village, S.R. Puram Mandal of Chittoor District and ‘it’s Cane

Development Council resolution, based on the remarks of the Asst. Cane

Commissioner, Chittoor and as per the powers conferred under Section 15

of the A.P. Sugarcane (RS & P) Act, 1961, the Cane Commissioner, A.P., hereby

order for declaration of the factory zone of M/s SNJ Sugars & Products Ltd.,

Nelavoy Village, S.R. Puram Mandal of Chittoor District for a period of 5 crushing

seasons from 2018-2019 to 2022-2023 as follows :

with a total of 178 villages in 11 mandals of Chittoor District mentioned in

the Schedule appended to this notification as factory zone/operational

area, with the similar conditions as stipulated in the orders at ref.1 ^st

read above.

This order will come into force with immediate effect.
