DECLARATION OF MOTOR TRANSPORT INDUSTRY IN THE STATE AS PUBLIC

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has declared in G.O.Rt.No.264, Labour

Employment Training and Factories (Labour-II) Department, Dt:06.08.2018, the Motor

Transport Industry in the State of Andhra Pradesh as a Public Utility Service for the purpose

of Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947) for the period from 30.01.2018 to

29.07.2018 for a period of six months with retrospective effect.

Whereas, the said period of six months is expired on 29.07.2018.

Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is satisfied that it is necessary to declare

the said industry as Public Utility Service in the public interest.

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of

section 2 of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947), the Government of

Andhra Pradesh hereby declare the Motor Transport Industry in the State of Andhra

Pradesh, as a Public Utility Service Unit for the period from 30.07.2018 to 29.01.2019

for a period of six months with retrospective effect.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has declared in G.O.Rt.No.19,

Labour Employment Training and Factories (Labour-II) Department, Dt:07.02.2019,

the Motor Transport Industry in the State of Andhra Pradesh as a Public Utility Service

for the purpose of Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947) for the period

from 30.07.2018 to 29.01.2019 for a period of six months with retrospective effect.

Whereas, the said period of six months has expired on 29.01.2019.

Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is satisfied that it is necessary to

declare the said industry as Public Utility Service in the public interest.

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of

section 2 of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947), the Government of

Andhra Pradesh hereby declare the Motor Transport Industry in the State of Andhra

Pradesh, as a Public Utility Service Unit for a further period of six months from

30.01.2019 to 29.07.2019.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8 of the Industrial

Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government of Andhra Pradesh

hereby appoints Smt. K.Lalitha Kumari, as Chairman-cum-Presiding Officer, Industrial

Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Anantapuramu with effect from the forenoon of

07.01.2019 till further orders to trial the cases filed in their Court under Industrial

Dispute Act, 1947.
