AMENDMENT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH EXCISE (GRANT OF LICENCE OF

SELLING BY BAR AND CONDITIONS OF LICENCE) RULES, 2019.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 72 read with Sections 17,

28 and 29 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 (Act 17 of 1968), the

Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the

Andhra Pradesh Excise (Grant of Licence of Selling by Bar and Conditions

of Licence) Rules, 2019 issued vide G.O.Ms.No.478 Revenue (Ex-II)

Department Dated : 25.11.2019.

AMENDMENT

1)

In the said rules, for Rule 7 (2)(a)(ii) and 7 (2)(b) for the words “for

each Bar separately” the words “for the Bars notified in the Urban

Local Body” shall be substituted.

2)

For Rule 7 (7) for the words “Bar-wise” the words “for the Bars

notified in the Urban Local Body” shall be substituted.

For Rule 7 (8) for the words “for that particular Bar” the words “for the

Bars notified in the Urban Local Body” shall be substituted.

4)

For the 2^nd proviso of Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 14 for the words “5 KM

belt from the periphery of Municipal Corporation” the words “5 KM

belt from the periphery within the revenue district of Municipal

Corporation” shall be substituted.

5)

For the 2^nd proviso of Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 14 for the words “2 KM

belt from the periphery of Municipality” the words “2 KM belt from

the periphery within the revenue district of Municipality” shall be

substituted.
