NOTIFICATION
Under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities
Act, 1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act, 6 of 1965) read with rule 11 of the Andhra Pradesh
Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into wards) Rules, 1994
issued in G.O.Ms.No.31,Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, dated
03.02.1995 and after due consideration of the proposals submitted by the Commissioner and
Director of Municipal Administration, Andhra Pradesh, Guntur, the Government hereby
notify the draft delimitation of twenty (20) wards of Cheemakurthy Nagarpanchayat as
specified in the schedule appended to this Notification.
2.
The Municipal Council, Cheemakurthy Nagarpanchayat is informed that it shall
submit its views /suggestions, if any, on the proposed draft delimitation of wards notified,
within 7 days of the publication of this Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, to the
Commissioner, Cheemakurthy Nagarpanchayat.
3.
The people of Cheemakurthy Nagarpanchayat are informed that they may submit their
views/suggestions, if any, on the proposed draft delimitation of wards notified, within 7 days
of the publication of this Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, to the Commissioner,
Cheemakurthy Nagarpanchayat.

A copy of the Notification is also sent to the Collector and District Magistrate,
Prakasam District and he/she is requested to affix the same on the Notice Board of his office
and he/she is requested to give his / her suggestions about the division of the aforesaid
Nagarpanchyat into twenty (20) wards to the Government immediately.
5.
The Municipal Commissioner, Cheemakurthy Nagarpanchayat and the Collector and
District Magistrate, Prakasam District may follow the procedure as stipulated under rule 12 of
A.P. Municipalities (Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into wards) Rules
1994 and send their report to the Government through the Commissioner and Director of
Municipal Administration immediately.

and runs towards east along with donka bearing S.No 643 till it meets
the vagu at S.No. 638 and runs along with vagu S.No 638 and
northern boundaries are S.No. 505, 289, 290 , 291, 293, 294, 299,
300 and north – east corner of the S.No. 301.
East :
The eastern boundary starts from North – east corner of S.No. 301 and

263 till it reaches the Kurnool Road.
South :
The Southern boundary starts from south – east corner of S.No.263
and runs towards west along with Kurnool Road up to the south –
east corner of the S.No. 248 and runs towards north along with eastern
boundary of S.No 248 and 241, 260 and turns towards west along
with donka Poramboke bearing S.No. 279, 281, 518, 600, 608 till it
meets the Municipal Boundary on west side.
West :
The western boundary starts from the donka Poramboku of S.No 608

the north – west corner of S.No 957.

The Northern boundary starts from polimera donka bearing S.No 723,
along with polimera donka up to North – west corner of S.No. 731
East :
The eastern boundary starts from North – west corner of S.No. 731
I.e., Darasi Road and runs towards south along with bund and runs
towards south till it reaches the Kurnool Road.
South :
The Southern boundary starts from south – east corner of S.No. 150
and runs towards west along with Kurnool Road up to the south –
west corner of the S.No 254 and turns towards north along with
eastern boundary of S.No 260, 267, 301 and turns towards west along
with northern boundary of S.No. 301, 300, 299, 290, 293, 289, 504,
638 along with vagu till it meets the north – west corner of S.No. 957.
West :
The western boundary starts from the north – west corner of the S.No.
957 and runs towards north along with Municipal boundary i.e., west
side boundary of the S.No. 957, 645, 647, 648, 649, 650, 676, 677,
