NOTIFICATION

CONCESSION ON VESSEL RELATED CHARGES AT VISAKHAPATNAM PORT TRUST

No. IGAD/BDS/MISC/F.14/2019,- In excise of the powers conferred under item

XV (c) of General Terms and conditions, Section-1 of Visakhapatnam Port Trust

notified Scale of Rates published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary ( Part-Ill section 4 )

on 22 July 2016 vide Gazette No. 305. The Visakhapatnam Port Trust Board in its

meeting No. 3 of 2019-20 held on 03.10.2019, vide Resolution No. 103/2019-20 in tne

agenda item No S-1, has resolved as follows:

(a) Concession of 70% in Port Dues and Pilotage for container vessels

with GRT less than 50,000 MT carrying minimum inward 250 TEUs for Transshipment.

(b) Concession of 80% in Port Dues and Pilotage for container vessels with

GRT more than 50,000 MT carrying minimum inward 250 TEUs for Transshipment.

(c) The existing GRT based discounts will NOT be applicable for the vessels where

the above (a) & (b) concessions are extended.

(d) The existing GRT based concession will continue to be applicable for the

vessels where the above (a) & (b) concessions are not extended.

(e) The concession in Transshipment containers as stated at (a) and (b) above

will be effective from the date of approval of the Proposal by the VPT Board

and will be co-terminus with the existing GRT based concession i.e. will be valid

upto 31/03/2020 after which the entire proposal will be reviewed.
