NOTIFICATION-I

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 3 read

with clauses (a) and (f) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh

Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994) and in relaxation of the

criteria fixed in rule 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats (Declaration of

Villages) Rules, 2007 issued in G.O.Ms.No.542, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development

(Pts.IV) Department, dated: 03.12.2007, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby

cancel the notification in which the areas of 1) Lakshmipuram 2)Konijeti Chenethapuri &

3)YSR Gram Panchayat in Prakasam District were declared as villages in order

to bifurcate the said villages from 1) Akkayapalem 2) Challareddypalem, 3) Kothapeta,

4) Desaipeta and 5) Vetapalem Gram Panchayats of Vetapalem Mandal, and

constitute

the

areas

1)

Lakshmipuram

2)Konijeti

Chenethapuri

&

3) YSR Gram Panchayat as new Gram Panchayats, in Prakasam District with

immediate effect, as detailed in the Annexure to this Order.

NOTIFICATION-II

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 3

of the A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.13 of 1994),

the Government hereby re-constitute the

(8) Gram Panchayats, namely

1)Akkayapalem 2) Challareddypalem 3) Desaipeta 4) Kothapeta 5) Pandillapalli

6) Papayapalem 7) Pullaripalem & 8) Vetapalem Grampanchayats, in

Vetapalem (M), Prakasam District after constitution of (3) new Gram Panchayats,

namely 1) Lakshmipuram 2)Konijeti Chenethapuri & 3)YSR Gram Panchayat,

in Vetapalem (M), Prakasam District, as detailed in the Annexure to this order.
