NOTIFICATION
Under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act,
1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act, 6 of 1965) read with rule 11 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities
(Division of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into wards) Rules, 1994 issued in G.O.Ms.No.31,
Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, dated 03.02.1995 and after due
consideration of the proposals submitted by the Commissioner and Director of Municipal
Administration, Andhra Pradesh, Guntur, the Government hereby notify the draft delimitation of
twenty nine (29) wards of Nagari Municipality as specified in the schedule appended to this
Notification.
2.
The Municipal Council, Nagari Municipality is informed that it shall submit its
views/suggestions, if any, on the proposed draft delimitation of wards notified, within 7 days of the
publication of this Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, to the Commissioner, Nagari
Municipality.
3.
The people of Nagari Municipality are informed that they may submit their
views/suggestions, if any, on the proposed draft delimitation of wards notified, within 7 days of the
publication of this Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, to the Commissioner, Nagari
Municipality.

A copy of the Notification is also sent to the Collector and District Magistrate, Chitoor
District and he/she is requested to affix the same on the Notice Board of his office and he/she is
requested to give his / her suggestions about the division of the aforesaid Municipality into twenty
nine (29) wards to the Government immediately.
5.
The Municipal Commissioner, Nagari Municipality and the Collector and District Magistrate,
Chitoor District may follow the procedure as stipulated under rule 12 of A.P. Municipalities (Division
of Nagar Panchayats and Municipalities into wards) Rules 1994 and send their report to the
Government through the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., Guntur,
immediately.

East: The boundary starts from the junction of kummi kaluva and nagari bypass road then it runs

North: Starting from the above point the line turns towards east and runs along the Kusasthali River
till its meets the northeast corner of survey no 38 of keelapattu revenue village at Kusasthali River and
municipal boundary.

East: The boundary starts at arrakonnam road at northen boundary of survey no 75 of kellapattu
revenue village and then turns towards south and runs along the western boundary of kellapattu B.C
Colony and western boundary of survey no 78,87,88,89,90 till meets the south west corner of survey
no 91 at southern municipal boundary.
South: Starting from the above point the line turns towards west and runs along the southern
municipal boundary till south west corner of survey no 113 of netham kandriga revenue village and
municipal boundary.
West: starting from the above point the line turns towards north and runs along the municipal
boundary till it meets the Kusasthali River at North West corner of survey no 155 of netham kandrga.
North: Starting from the above point the line turns towards east and runs along the Kusasthali River

East & South: The boundary starts from the north west corner of Old Govt Hospital compound and
then turns towards south and runs along the indhira nagar along the ram nagar A & B till its meets the

East & South: The boundary starts from the junction of pllipattu road and Old govt. hospital road and
