NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the term of the of Special Officers, extended in the 9 ULBs in the reference

2^nd read above is expired on 31.12.2019 and the term of the Special Officers appointed in

the 99 ULBs in the reference 3^rd read above is expired on 02.01.2020.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1)

of section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, and section 17 of the

Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, read with section 70 G of Greater

Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend

the term of Special Officers of the Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and

Nagarapanchayats for a further period of 6 (six) months OR till the elected body comes into

the office whichever is earlier as mentioned in the Annexures - I &II to this order.
