SUGARCANE ACT - PLANTATION SEASON 2020-2021 - NOTIFICATION FOR THE

PURPOSE OF SUPPLY OF SUGARCANE TO THE SUGAR FACTORIES

FOR 2021-2022 CRUSHING SEASON.

Read : 1. Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 18 of the A.P. Sugarcane (RS & P) Rules, 1961.

2. Rule 20 (1) of the A.P. Sugarcane (RS & P) Rules, 1961.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 18 of the A.P.

Sugarcane (RS & P) Rules, 1961, I, the Cane Commissioner, A.P, hereby specify

below the duration of the sugarcane planting season in respect of all sugar factories

in the A.P. State for 2020-2021 plantation season for the purpose of supply of

sugarcane to the sugar factories in the State for the crushing season 2021-2022:

a)

Irrigated sugarcane : -

From December, 2020 to April, 2021

b)

Rain fed sugarcane : -

From May, 2021 to July, 2021

The Occupiers of the sugar factories shall receive the offers under Rule 20 (i)

of the A.P. Sugarcane (RS & P) Rules, 1961 during the period of planting season.
