AMENDMENT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH POLICE (STIPENDIARY CADET

TRAINEE) RULES, 1999.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the

Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra

Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Police

(Stipendiary Cadet Trainee) Rules,1999, issued in G.O.Ms.No.315, Home (Police.C)

Department, Dated: 13.10.1999 and published in Supplement to Part-1 of the Andhra

Pradesh Gazette No:41-A, dated 18^th November,1999 and as subsequently amended

from time to time.

AMENDMENTS

In the said rules,

In Rule 3(C) for item (iii) the following shall be substituted, namely :-

“(iii) for special category quota to PM, PE, MSP, NCC, CPP&CDI of Sub-Inspectors

of Police and HG, MSP, NCC, CPP,CDI of Police Constables:

(a)

if the special category quota could not be fully filled and vacancy is also

available in the particular community, then the second higher decimal point will be

taken for filling up the said vacancy.

(b)

if two or more decimal points are same to various community, then candidates

final written marks will be taken as criteria (elder person will be selected)”.
