AMENDMENT

TO

THE

ANDHRA PRADESH GOVERNMENT PROFESSIONAL

INSTITUTIONS (REGULATIONS OF ADMISSIONS INTO UNDER GRADUATE

MEDICAL AND DENTAL PROFESSIONAL COURSES) RULES, 2004.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3 and 15 of theAndhra

Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Prohibition of

Capitation Fee) Act, 1983 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.5 of 1983), the Governor of

Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh

Government Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into Undergraduate

Medical and Dental Professional Courses) Rules, 2004 issued in G.O.Ms.No.183,

HM&FW(E1) Dept., Dt. 30.06.2004 and published in Rules Supplement to Part-I

Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.23, dated the 2 ^nd July, 2004

and as subsequently amended from time to time :-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, the following sub clauses are inserted to clause (ix) of rule 6:

“(a)

BDS and MBBS counseling shall be conducted separately.

(b)

Only one time options shall be exercised for all MBBS and BDS seats

available in all the colleges.

(c)

Any candidate allotted a seat and does not join he/she, shall not be

considered for subsequent counseling”.
