EXTENSION OF THE TERM OF SPECIAL OFFICERS OF THE MANDAL PRAJA

PARISHADS UNDER THE ANDHRA PRADESH PANCHAYAT RAJ ACT, 1994

(ANDHRA PRADESH ACT NO. 13 OF 1994) w.e.f., 04.01.2021.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 250-A of the Andhra Pradesh

Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act No. 13 of 1994), the Government hereby

authorize the concerned Collector and District Magistrates to extend the term of the

Special Officers appointed to the Mandal Praja Parishads as per G.O.Ms.No.106,

Panchayat Raj and Rural Development(Elections & Rules) Department,

Dated: 03.07.2019 with effect from 04.01.2021 to exercise the powers, discharge

the duties and perform the functions of the Mandal Praja Parishads for a period of

six (6) months or till the date of assumption of office, of the Members and office

bearers of Mandal Praja Parishad elected in accordance with due process,

whichever is earlier.
