NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under schedule-100 of Educational Act, 1982 and

after careful examination of the matter, the Government hereby accord permission for inter

conversion of Sri Chaitanya Degree College for Women, Tirupathi Road, Pileru, Chittoor District

into Sri Chaitanya Degree College for Co-Education College, Tirupathi Road, Pileru, Chittoor

District in relaxation of Rule 14(5) of the A.P. Educational Institutions(Establishment, Recognition,

Administration and Control of Institutions of Higher Education) Rules, 1987, issued in

G.O.Ms.No.29, Education, Dated: 05.02.1987, read with G.O.Ms.No.35, Education, Dated:

25.04.2007 and G.O.Ms.No.211, Education, Dated: 08.11.2007, since Sri Chaitanya Degree

College for Women, has been registering shortage of strength, and also the students and public

are requesting to Conversion of Sri Chaitanya Degree College for Women, Tirupathi Road,

Pileru, Chittoor District into Co-Education College.

The Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Mangalagiri, Guntur

District shall take further action in the matter.
