Order:

Government of A.P Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Dept have issued

orders authorizing the Commissioner of Labour, A.P., Vijayawada to declare a paid

holiday on the day of polling i.e., 09.02.2021, 13.02.2021, 17.02.2021 and 21.02.2021

to the employee and Workers employed in Shops and Establishments under

A.P. Shops and Establishments Act, 1988 situated in areas of Gram Panchayats where

Elections are to be conducted.

In pursuance of the orders issued in the G.O cited and in exercise of the powers

under section 31(2) of APSE Act 1988, I, the Chief Inspector under A.P.Shops and

Establishments Act,1988 and Special Commissioner of Labour, A.P., Vijayawada is

hereby declared as paid holiday on the day of polling i.e., 09.02.2021, 13.02.2021,

17.02.2021 and 21.02.2021 to all the employee and Workers employed in Shops

and Establishments to franchise/ cast the vote situated in areas of Gram Panchayats

where elections are being conducted.

All the Joint Commissioners of the Labour, Deputy Commissioners of Labour

Assistant Commissioners of the Labour and Assistant Labour Officers in the State are

requested to ensure the said paid holidays in respect of their jurisdiction.
