ORDER:

In the reference 2 to 5th read above, Sri Regu Maheswara Rao, Advocate,

Vizianagaram and three others have filed an appeal petition before the Government

under Section 7(2) of the Andhra Pradesh (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and

Backward Classes) Regulation of Issue of Community Certificates Act, 1993 (Act No.16

of 1993) against the Proceedings in RC No.C2/e-173206/2019, Dt.09.05.2021 of the

Collector & District Magistrate, Eluru, West Godavari in confirming the ST-Konda

Dora Caste Certificate of Smt. Pamula Pushpa Srivani, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister &

Minister for Tribal Welfare. The Appellants have requested the Government to set

aside the impugned order dt.09.05.2021 passed by the Collector & District Magistrate,

West Godavari District and stay the operation of the said Proceedings, pending

disposal of the Appeal Petitions.

After careful examination of the matter in detail, Government hereby

appoint/nominate the Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare to act as Appellate Authority

to hear appeal petitions as per provisions of Section 7(2) of the Andhra Pradesh

(Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes) Regulation of Issue of

Community Certificates Act, 1993 (Act No.16 of 1993).

3. The Social Welfare (CV) Department shall take necessary action accordingly.
