ORDER:

In the letter 2^nd read above, the Collector & District Magistrate, Srikakulam has

submitted proposal for sanction of Monetary Grant (Ex-Gratia) of Rs.5,00,000/- to

Smt. Sapala Chinnammadu M/o No.16121804A Sapper Late Sapala Shanmukha Rao

(un-married) (Madras Regiment) who died on 14.05.2020 while performing operational

duty at International Border in North Sikkim and his death was treated as Battle Casualty.

2.

The Finance Department have provided budget of Rs.5,00,000/- as token amount

under head of account: “2070-Other Administrative Services M.H.SOO-Other Expenditure

S.H. (22)-Ex-gratia to deceased defence personnel 310-Grants in Aid- 317-Ex-gratia

Payments” for the current financial year 2021-22. The said head of account has no

budget control.

Government after careful examination hereby accord sanction of ex-gratia of

Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh Only) to Smt. Sapala Chinnammadu M/o No.16121804A

Sapper Late Sapala Shanmukha Rao (un-married) (Madras Regiment) who died on

14.05.2020 while performing operational duty at International Border in North Sikkim

and his death was treated as Battle Casualty who hails from Rottavalasa (Village & Post),

Sarubujjili (Mandal), Srikakulam District - A.P-532190.

The expenditure shall be debited to the following Head of Account: “2070-

Other Administrative Services M.H.SOO-Other Expenditure S.H. (22)-Ex-gratia to

deceased defence personnel 310-Grants in Aid- 317-Ex-gratia Payments”.

The Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Office of the Collector 8c District Magistrate,

Srikakulam is requested to map the above head of account to your DDO Code so as to

submit bill in CFMS.

6.

The Collector & District Magistrate, Srikakulam shall draw and disburse the

amount sanctioned in para 3 above to Smt. Sapala Chinnammadu M/o No.16121804A

Sapper Late Sapala Shanmukha Rao under intimation to Government.
