Read the following:-

1. G.O.Ms.No.26, General Administration (Poll.B) Department, Dated: 28-01-2014.

2. From the Dist. Collector, Srikakulam Lr.No. A/421/BC.CA/2020 Dated Nov, 2021.

ORDER:

In the letter 2^nd read above, the Collector & District Magistrate, Srikakulam has

submitted proposal for sanction of Monetary Grant (Ex-Gratia) of Rs.5,00,000/- to

Smt. Sravani Rella W/o No.2614688M, Lance Havildar Late Prakash Rella (Madras

Regiment) who went missing (presumed dead) on 07.04.2020 due to drowning into

Sutlej river while performing operational duty at International Border in Himachal

Pradesh and his death was treated as Battle Casualty.

The Finance Department have provided budget of Rs.5,00,000/- as token amount

under head of account: “2070-Other Administrative Services M.H.800-Other Expenditure

S.H. (22)-Ex-gratia to deceased defence personnel 310-Grants in Aid-317-Ex-gratia

Payments” for the current financial year 2021-22. The said head of account has no

budget control.

Government after careful examination hereby accord sanction of ex-gratia of

Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh Only) to Smt. Sravani Rella W/o No.2614688M,

Lance Havildar Late Prakash Rella (Madras Regiment) who died on 07.04.2020 while

performing operational duty at International Border in Himachal Pradesh and his

death was treated as Battle Casualty who hails from Kaviti (Village & Post),

Kaviti Tehsil, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh-532322.

The expenditure shall be debited to the following Head of Account:

“2070-Other Administrative Services M.H.800-Other Expenditure S.H. (22)-Ex-gratia to

deceased defence personnel 310-Grants in Aid-317-Ex-gratia Payments”.

5.

The Drawing and Disbursing Officer Office of the Collector & District Magistrate,

Srikakulam is requested to map the above head of account to your DDO Code so as to

submit bill in CFMS.

6.

The Collector & District Magistrate, Srikakulam shall draw and disburse the

amount sanctioned in para 3 above to Smt. Sravani Rella W/o No.2614688M, Lance

Havildar Late Prakash Rella under intimation to Government.
