ORDER:

In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have notified the Direct Benefit

Transfer (DBT) Scheme to farmers for providing free Agriculture Power in the State

from the FY 2021-22.

In the G.O. 2nd read above, Government have selected Srikakulam district

as Pilot District for implementation and transfer of monthly DBT amounts starting

from September, 2020.

In the reference 3rd read above, the Chairman & Managing Director, A.P.

Eastern Power Distribution Company Ltd., has requested the Government to release

an amount of Rs.2,45,86,660/- for the month of November, 2021 for

implementation of “YSR Uchita Vyavasaya Vidyut Pathakam” to Agricultural

Services under DBT Scheme in respect of Srikakulam district.

Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative sanction

for an amount of Rs.2,45,86,660/- (Rupees two crores forty five lakhs eighty six

thousand six hundred and sixty only) for the month of November, 2021 to meet the

expenditure from the following Head of Account towards implementation of “YSR

Uchita Vyavasaya Vidyut Pathakam” to Agricultural Services under DBT mode in

respect of Srikakulam district, under jurisdiction of the APEPDCL for the current

fnancial year 2021-22: -
