AMENDMENT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH POLICE (CIVIL POLICE)
SUBORDINATE SERVICE RULES-1999.

Read the following :-

Dated: 02-01-2020.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra
Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Police
(Civil Police) Subordinate Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.374, Home (Police.C)
Department, Dated: 14.12.1999 as subsequently amended from time to time.

AMENDMENTS
In the said rules,
After note (4) of Rule 3, the following shall be added, namely,-
Note.5 : The seniority of Police Constable who are initially appointed by direct recruitment
in Armed Reserve or Andhra Pradesh Special Police and later selected and
appointed to Civil Police through fresh direct recruitment in another recruitment
notification, shall be fixed with reference to the date of appointment in Police
Constable (Civil).
Note.6 : The seniority of Sub-Inspector of Police(Civil) who are initially appointed by
direct recruitment in Armed Reserve or Andhra Pradesh Special Police and
later selected and appointed to Civil Police through fresh direct recruitment in
another recruitment notification, shall be fixed with reference to the date of
appointment in Sub-Inspectors of Police (Civil).
