In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 13 of

the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) read with Rule 1 of the

Rules framed with regard to appointment of Special Judicial Magistrates of II Class /

Special Metropolitan Magistrates, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, hereby confers

on the persons mentioned in column (2) of the table below, all the powers of Special

Judicial Magistrates of II Class, to exercise at the places shown in column (3) in respect of

NOTIFICATIONS BY HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS Etc.,

particular cases or particular classes of cases, as may be specified by the Chief

Judicial Magistrate, Kurnool District, to enable them to function as Special Judicial

Magistrates of II Class, in their respective stations in Kurnool District, for a period

of 2 years, from the date they assume charge of their respective posts as such, or till

they attain the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier, subject to condition that if any

individual refuses / fails to join duty within fifteen (15) days from the date of issue of the

notification, his / her claim to the said post shall be forfeited and that the services of the officer

appointed shall be liable to be terminated without any notice.

the business among the Special Judicial Magistrates of II Class to exercise the powers

in their respective stations.
