NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

O R D E R:

In the reference 1^st read above, Government accepted the recommendations of

the Departmental Promotion Committee and approved the year wise panels of

Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendents fit for promotion to the category of

Prohibition & Excise Superintendents for the panel years 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and

2013-2014 (Upto 01.06.2014). In the said orders, among other officers, the name of

Smt K. Vijaya, Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendent was included at Sl.No.6

for the panel year 2013-14 but deferred the promotion till the termination of disciplinary

cases pending against her. Her junior Sri K. Srinivasa Chary (Sl.No.7) was notionally

promoted, along with others, as Prohibition & Excise Superintendent for the panel

year 2013-14 w.e.f. 01.11.2013 vide G.O. 2^nd read above.

In the reference 3^rd read above, final seniority list of Prohibition and Excise

Superintendents has been issued, without including the name of Smt K.Vijaya,

Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, as she has been facing disciplinary cases.

In the references 4^th and 5^th read above, orders have been issued dropping further

action against Smt K. Vijaya, the then Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent.

In the reference 6^th read above, orders have been issued assigning notional

promotion to Smt. K.Vijaya in the category of Prohibition & Excise Superintendent in

the panel year 2013-14 on par with her junior Sri K. Srinivasa Chary, Prohibition & Excise

Superintendent w.e.f. 01.11.2013, as the disciplinary cases have been dropped.

In the reference 7 ^th read above, Smt K. Vijaya, Prohibition and Excise

Superintendent has requested to consider her notional promotion to the category of

Assistant Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise on par with her junior Sri K. Srinivasa

Chary who was promoted as Asst. Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise vide

G.O.Rt.No.774, Revenue (Excise) Department, Dated: 25.09.2020 r/w G.O.Ms.No.246,

Revenue (Excise) Department, Dated: 31.08.2020 in the panel year 2019-2020.

In the reference 9^th read above, the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, AP,

Vijayawada has stated that the name of Smt. K.Vijaya, Prohibition and Excise

Superintendent may be placed at Sl.No.63 (a) above the name of Sri K.Srinivachary at

Sl.No.64 in the final seniority list of Prohibition and Excise Superintendents issued in the

reference 3^rd read above.

Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Commissioner of

Prohibition & Excise, AP, Vijayawada, hereby modify the final seniority list issued in the

reference 3^rd read above, by including the name of Smt K.Vijaya, Prohibition & Excise at

Sl.No.63 (a) above Sri K.Srinivasa Chary.

The above seniority is subject to outcome of OAs/WPs/WAs/RPs/SLPs/CAs etc.,

if any, pending before Tribunal/Courts etc., as the case may be.

8.

The Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise, A.P., shall take necessary further

action in the matter accordingly.
