Read the following:

Whereas, I.n the reference lst to 3rd read above, disc..pli.nary proceedings were

I.nitiated agal.nst Sri A.S.A. Hameed Basha, the then Tahsildar, Thamballapalle,

erstwhi.le Chi.ttoor Dist (Retd) and Sri N.Sudhakar, Dy.Tahsi.ldar, Thamballapalle (M),

erstwhi.le Chittoor district on the allegati.on of encashment of Rs.15,00,000/-and also

for non-submi.ssi.on of any bills / UCs for which the money was uti.lized. The Charged

Offi.cers have submi.tted their WSDs denyi.ng the Charges.

2. And whereas, i.t is consi.dered that an Inquiring Authority should be appointed

to I.nqu].re into the charges framed agai.nst the above sa].d offl.cers.

3. Now, therefore, I.n exerci.se of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 20

of Andhra Pradesh Civ" Servi.ces (CcaA) Rules,1991, the disciplinary authori.ty hereby

appoint Smt.Thameem Ansaria, lAS, Joint Collector, Annamayya District as

lnqu].ring Authority to enquire I.nto the charges framed against the sai.d officers

mentl.oned at para-1 above. He should submit hi.s enquiry report to Government,

within two months, with h].s own attestation i.n dupli.cate.

4. Copies of the Articles of Charges issued and wn.tten statements of defense

received from the charged officers are enclosed.
