ORDER:

ln the reference 6rh read above, orders have been issued approving estimate

of vacancies of (66) Deputy Collector for the adhoc panel year 2022-2023.

Accordingly, the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., has conveyed

Departmental Promotion Committee held on 08.12.2022, recommended and rncluded

the following names of the Tahsildars /Superintendents /Section Officers as per their

seniority / eligibility and furnish the list of eligible candidates for adhoc promotion as

Deputy Collectors vide reference 7th read above:

After, careful examination, Government, hereby approved the minutes of the

Departmental Promotion Committee for the adhoc panel of Deputy Collectors for the

panel year 2022-2023 held on 08122022 and accordingly, hereby issue the

following notification for temporary promotion / appointment by transfer to the

following Tahsildars / Superintendents / Section Officers as Deputy Collectors purely

on ad-hoc basis and shall be published in Andhra Pradesh Gazette:-

NOTIFICATION

Under Rule 10 (a) of Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules.

1996, the following Tahsildars / Section Officers / Superintendents are hereby

appointed to the cadre of Deputy Collector (Category-ll) of Andhra Pradesh

Civil Services (Executive Branch) Rules, 1992 on purely temporary / adhoc

basis in the Revised Scale of Pay - 2022 of Rs.61 960-15'! 370.

(ii) the above Tahsildars / Superintendents / Section Officers considered for ad-hoc /

temporary promotions / transfers for the post of Deputy Collectors will be cleared by

the Departmental Promotion Committee in the regular panels to be conducted in future

based on their senrority.

(iii) the appointment is purely temporary under emergency provisions and does not

confer any right of any kind on the individual who is liable to be reverted at any time

without prior notice and without assigning any reasons thereof and the excess amount

drawn, if any, in this category will be recovered;

(iv) the officer shall not be regarded as a Probationer or be entitled by reason only of

such appointment to any preferential claim for future appointment to such service,

class or category. Their services will be regularized against the substantive vacancy

meant for them only, till such time the officer has to work on temporary / ad-hoc basis

in the cadre of Deputy Collector;

(v) the adhoc promotions accorded are subject to outcome of pending O.As/ W. Ps/

SLPs, respectively and any other cases pending before any court of law,

(vi) the appointment is also subject to joining of the Officer in the promoted post within

the stipulated time of 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of the order as specified

in rule 1 1 (b) of A. P. State & Subordinate Service Rules, 1 996, failing which he/she

would forfeit the right of promotion to the cadre of Deputy Collector.

The offacers given adhoc promotions shall immediately report before the

Principal Secretary to Government (Political), General Administration (SC.B)

Department, A. P., Secretariat, Velgapudi, for issuing necessary posting order to them

as Deputy Collector.

5. The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., / The Commissioner,

Survey Settlement & Land Records, A.P., / The District Collectors concerned / The

General Administration (POLL-A) Department / The Home (OP) Department / The

Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (OP-l) Department are therefore requested to

relieve, the Tahsildars concerned / Superrntendents concerned / Section Officers

concerned, immediately to enable them to submit their joining report before the

Government. The General Administration (SU.l) Department is therefore requested to

relieve the Section Officers at Sl.No. 2 & 41 , duly withdrawing their services from

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Genera Administration (SC) Department

respectively.

The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., Vijayawada shall take

necessary further action in the matter and also requested to furnish the native district

and contact phone number of the above newly promoted officers for record purpose.
