THE RE­SURVEY OPERATIONS OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS AS WELL AS

GRAMAKANTAM LANDS / ABADI.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Code of Criminal

Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby

appoint the newly created Deputy Tahsildars (679) (Re-Survey), who are appointed to

the above programme and can be called as Dy.Thasildars (Re-Survey) as Special

Executive Magistrates w.e.f the date of issue of Notification till the completion of

Re-Survey programme in their respective Mandals as Executive Magistrates to be

known as Special Executive Magistrates and confer on them the powers under

sections 107 to 124, 129 to 144, 174 (4) and 176 of the code of Criminal Procedure, 1973

(Central Act 2 of 1974) in their respective jurisdictions as allotted by the Government.

The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration & Special Chief Secretary,

Andhra Pradesh and the Commissioner of Survey, Settlements and Land Records,

Andhra Pradesh are requested to take necessary action according in the matter.
