ORDER:

In the reference 1^st read above, orders are issued for adjustment of previous

NABARD's normative ceiling limit for L.I. Schemes to Rs.1.05 Lakhs per acre to

process the new L.I. scheme estimates for according administrative approvals at

Government level.

In the reference 2^nd and 4^th read above, the Managing Director APSIDC Ltd.,

Vijayawada has requested the Government to accord necessary orders for

enhancement of the normative ceiling limit of cost per acre for new L.I. Schemes to

Rs.1.46 lakhs per acre from the existing limit of Rs.1.05 lakhs per acre for submitting

the estimates of new L.I. Schemes for according administrative approval under

different programmers.

In the reference 3^rd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (AW/IW) and Chairman,

Board of Chief Engineers, Water Resources Department, Vijayawada has informed

that, the Board of Chief Engineers (BoCEs) during meeting held on 28.09.2022, have

examined the above proposal in detail. After detailed discussion, the BoCEs opined

that, the proposed increase of normative ceiling limit of cost per acre for new L.I.

Schemes from Rs.1.05 lakhs to Rs.1.46 lakhs per acre is reasonable, as the SOR

rates during last 11 years increased substantially and recommended to Government

to increase the normative ceiling limit to Rs.1.46 lakhs per acre.

After careful examination of the matter, the Government hereby enhances the

normative ceiling limit of cost per acre for new L.I. Schemes to Rs.1.46 lakhs per

acre from the existing limit of Rs.1.05 lakhs as recommended by BoCE.

The Managing Director, APSIDC Ltd., Vijayawada shall take necessary further

action in the matter, accordingly.

This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU.WR.I) Department,

vide their U.O.No.FIN01-FMU0MRAS (WR1)/25/2022-FMU-WR-I, Computer No:

1896666, dated 16.12.2022.
