AMENDMENT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

(ESTABLISHMENT, RECOGNITION, ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL OF

INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION) RULES, 1987.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 20 and 21 read with

Section 99 of the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 (Act No.1 of 1982), the

Government hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh

Educational Institutions (Establishment, Recognition, Administration and Control of

Institutions of Higher Education) Rules, 1987, and as subsequently amended from

time to time :

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in sub - rule (3) of rule 4, for the words “Commissionerate of

Higher Education”, the words “the Government” shall be substituted.

The above Notification shall come into force retrospectively with effect

from 07.07.2022.
