NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the term of the Special Officers in (9) ULBs viz., Rajam, Rajamahendravaram

Corporation, Bhimavaram, Tadepalligudem, Palacole, Tanuku, Gudivada, and Gudur expired on

05.05.2023.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of section 62-A of the

Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act,1965, and section 17 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal

Corporation Act, 1994, read with section 17 G of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act,

1955, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend the term of Special Officers to the Eight (8)

ULBs mentioned in the Annexure for a further period of (6) months or till the elected body comes into

office, whichever is earlier and also appoints the District Revenue Officer, Bapatla District as Special

Officer to Bapatla Municipality in place of the Joint Collector, Bapatla District (Present Special

Officer) for a period of 6 months from 06.05.2023 or till the elected body comes into force, whichever

is earlier.
