NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the term of the Special Officers in 10 ULBs viz., Kandukur,
Amadalavalasa, Narasaraopet, Ponnur, Kavali, Chinthalapudi NP, YSR Tadigadapa,
Podili NP, Alluru NP & B. Kothakota NP will be expired on 31.12.2024 (1 ULB),
02.01.2025 (4 ULBs) 08.01.2025 (1ULB) & 11.01.2025 (4 ULBs) as shown in the
Annexure.
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of section
62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh
hereby extend the term of Special Officers to the 10 ULBs mentioned in the Annexure
for a period of (6) months or till the elected body comes into office, whichever is
earlier.
