NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of Constitution of India, the

Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh

Public Health and Municipal Engineering Services Rules, 1965 issued in G.O.(P).No.168,

MA Department, Dated: 20.02.1965, as amended from time to time.

AMENDMENTS

In the said rules,-

1. In rule “3. Appointment”, in the Table, in category “3 (a).Deputy Executive

Engineer” against “12th Vacancy”, for the existing method of appointment in

column (2) the following shall be substituted, namely:

“12^thVacancy: By appointment by transfer from the category of Assistant

Engineer (Environment) of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Environmental

Engineering Service. As and when the Assistant Engineer (Environment) is not

available, the vacancy should be filled up with Municipal Assistant Engineer.”
