In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243K of the Constitution of India, Sections

200 and 201 of A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 read with Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Election of

Member (Co-opted), President and Vice-Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads and Members (Co-

opted), Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of Zilla Praja Parishad Rules, 2006, the State

Election Commissioner, hereby, directs any Gazetted Officer of the Government authorized by

the Collector & District Election Authorities of Sri Satya Sai, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema and

Anakapalli to conduct election to the casual vacancies of Presidents of Ramagiri, Razole and S.

Rayavaram Mandal Praja Parishads respectively in accordance with the procedure laid down in

the said Rules and specifies the election schedule in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

ELECTION SCHEDULE

1.

Notice to be given in Form-V (with slight modification, i.e.,

deletion of Para 2 of the Notice) of the Andhra Pradesh

Conduct of Election of Member (Co-opted), President and

Vice-Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads and Members

(Co-opted), Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of Zilla Praja

Parishad Rules, 2006, by the Gazetted Officer authorized by

District Collector, calling for Special Meeting for conduct of

election of the Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads,

Ramagiri, Razole and S. Rayavaram.

(Notice shall be given to all Members of Mandal Praja

Parishad specified in clauses (i) to (v) of Section 149 (1) of

A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994)

On or before

09.08.2025

Date & time for Special Meeting for the election of the

Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads of Ramagiri, Razole

and S. Rayavaram.

Note:

1.

Quorum shall not be insisted in the Special Meeting for election of President as per

Rule 9 (2) of the Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Election of Member (Co-opted),

President and Vice-Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads and Members (Co-opted),

Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of Zilla Praja Parishad Rules, 2006, as the election

could not be completed in the earlier Special Meetings for want of quorum and other

reasons.

2.

If for any reason, the election of President is not held on the date fixed aforesaid, the

matter shall be reported to the State Election Commission to fix another date for

holding election.
