NOTIFICATION
Whereas the term of the Special Officers in (9) ULBs viz., Rajam, Rajamahendravaram,
Bhimavaram, Tadepalligudem, Palacole, Tanuku, Gudivada, Bapatla, Gudur (Tirupati District), will
expire on 05.11.2025 as shown in the Annexure.
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of Section 62-A of
the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 and by Section 17 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal
Corporation Act, 1994 read with Section 70-G of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1955 (Act No.2
of 1956), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend the term of Special Officers to the
(9) ULBs mentioned in the Annexure for a period of (6) months from 06.11.2025 to 05.05.2026
or till elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier.
